@Wolfblaz13 I use a set of free brushes that I downloaded from deviantArt, they’re available by searching for ‘101 Gimp Paintbrushes’ they’re by ‘~Xelar-art’

This can definitely help me color better in GIMP. But for the trees, what type of brush did you use under paintbrush tool? It kinda looked like the “galaxy” brush.

ANYTHING you can do in Photoshop, you can do in GIMP. Including pencil-type sketches. In fact, GIMP has an excellent inking tool for creating nice ink sketches, or for creating illustrations.

NOW about your wet on wet digital technique hehhe.. You need to pay attention to where the light comes from! the shadows on the trees are wrong.. Looks like you have 3 suns there…
and always do dark colors first!
Nice try tho!! Remember to have your light source in one place… I this case should have been the top right like the mountains..

I usually use one or two photos as reference material, but the results are never a direct copy of the reference photo(s).

I love your videos. I totally learned how to paint using GIMP even though there not tutorials. Keep up the good work.
