NIXIE PIXEL PORTRAIT IN GIMP +GPS WOW! Finally i have ended this picture. It has been a lot of work but, the results are ok for me.So this will be my last picture of 2009. A portrait of Nixie Pixel, a girl that is knowed by her videos on youtube about linux and games (and also weird things XD). She is a cute girl that has a lot of energy explaining things. And also a sexy voice (just joking) this is part of my tribute to Girls that are capturing my attention for something special. Who will be the next one? If you want to know her better you can do it visiting her youtube channel . Funny, hilaryious, and very special and unique style. www.youtube.com www.nixiepixel.com Technical Info: This picture was made with freeSoftware: Gimp 2.6.7 + GPS (gimp paint studio) and lot of work. The idea was to make a portrait of a beautiful girl with good lighting and strong color scheme. I wanted to make this one for my Portfolio.So the final result must to be ok to be presented to a client showing good technique and not hyperrealism but a real portrait. Now is finished and i´ve made a video, just a little video showing the final retouching stage. But i think it would be cool for other people to share that moment. Not a timelapse .that will be too large. But 5 min of my painting process And also i´ve upload a making of to show people the paint steps.
