Gimp Tutorial: Cool Blue Web Layout
Hey guys I'm back again with more Gimp tutorials, which will be specifically for my new website GimpPimp, and in this video were going to be creating a "cool blue" web layout in which you guys can use to make your wordpress themes. BTW: Adding background music was a bad idea, cause it's a little hard to hear me at some spots, so just follow along with what I'm doing in the tutorial, and you should be good. Also if I'm going a little to fast you can always use that pause button. (Remember it can be your best friend at times) Additionally if you're having a hard time seeing what I'm doing, you can always view in fullscreen. You guys can view the sample image, and download the web layout by going to GimpPimp's download page at gimppimp.tk or viewing the submitted tutorial on GimpPimp which is located at gimppimp.tk Checkout GimpPimp at gimppimp.tk Join The Facebook Fanpage for GimpPimp! www.facebook.com Checkout My Official Website! officialspeed.tk Join My Facebook Fanpage! www.facebook.com Join Me On Twitter! twitter.com

GIMP – 10 Minute diet with IWarp
This is the fourth video in my tutorial series. I'll be starting off with very very basic stuff that looks cool, and as I progress in the series I'll use some of these basic techniques to make more complicated stuff. I don't like live commentating stuff because I tend to get side tracked and make mistakes. So all the steps I did in the videos will be put in the description box. And I am truely sorry about the language settings that gimp has, I don't know how to set it to English, so in this video its still Dutch. in this video we are going to see have a look at the "IWarp" tool. Its basically used in retouching to slim down waistlines, thights, buttocks and enlarge breasts. fun fact: 99.9% of all pictures in magazines are retouched somehow. FOLLOW THESE STEPS: 1) Make a duplicate of your picture, you can use this to compare and spot out irregularities that come from warping. (eventho its not needed, its highly recommended) 2) Make a selection of the part that you want to "warp" and go to Filters - Transform - IWarp... 3) Depending on the size of your picture you will be able to enlarge the preview. I change my radius and strength because in GIMP when i load IWarp, the picture is blurry and distorted. Going over it with a big radius and no strength will make it clear and remove the distortion. 4) The radius will determine how much of the pixels you will be moving, and slider below that will determine how strong the transformation will be. I usually stay between 20 - 60 for ...
