    great tut it is verry easy to follow but not verry pro just work on the flow from step to step 5/5

    you have to make a render of the image (make the background transparent) you can do this using the magic wand tool or the paths tool.
    you have to erase the black part of the image

    You should realy make sigs pop out and only use a small nunber of brushes, but the effect you did make with the brushes was good and I might try it for profile pics :D
