How to add Backgrounds to GIMP.

Hello.. it's a bit laggy so don't mind it. If you car't read it here's a easy tip of it..Go onto GIMP and up load a picture you want to do but make sure it has nothing in the background like mine it's just plain green at the back on the picture..Just like that.. you then go to layers then -Transparency- then add Alpha Channel, Then click your select by colour tool on your left hand box and click on your pictures background- then edit-Cut-then go to photobucket and select a background what ...

  2. if the back ground has just plain colours onit then it should be easy to do, XD Before you do anything else Make sure you go to Layers->Transparency->Add Alpha Channel then do you see the little hand next to the three colour blocks? click that then background it should be a dotted line go all the way around it. Sometimes it does’nt work properly for some reason but anyways press Delete or cut. XD

  15. Yes you can but sometimes the select by colour tool might not get all around your picture if it has things in the background of it. but i guess you can.
