The tutorial would be useful if you’re used to GIMP, but for beginners, it’s hard to understand what’s even going on.

If the picture’s on your computer, right-click on it and click ‘Edit with Gimp’.

I had the same problem until i found out it’s actually very easy!
All you have to do, is go on the main gimp box file//dialogues//layers and add on channels and paths ! easy (:

oh, lol, ofcourse, looked convincing tho, but when I read ur comment I noticed there was no transparentsy and no 3D effects, but then again you can disable them in vista so it would be hard to tell.
