In Camtasia Studio you can zoom and pan later during editing. That’s what I usually do. You can zoom in to different areas of what you’ve recorded.
But when I want to pan during recording I use Camstudio. I can still edit the files it makes in Camtasia.

how do i recover the layers, channels, paths, und… box?? i accidentally closed it and i dont know how to get it back, if anyone knows how please help me!!!!!

Yes it is. I think version 7 out now though. If you want to pan you can use Camstudio to record.
