In this tutorial I will show you guys a couple ways on how to change the color of your eye. The final result would normally be in here, but the file hosting site I used, deleted the image. So sorry for the inconvenience.

No gimp, but you can apply the same effects with gimpshop
September 15th, 2009 - 18:27
Is this done in gimpshop?
September 15th, 2009 - 18:27
That’s said in the video tutorial, and done as well.

dude how can i make my eye clearer if i zoom to edit it?
September 15th, 2009 - 18:27
Your mode must be set to RGB.
Copy the eye with it selected then add a new layer, and paste it in that new layer with it still selected.
September 15th, 2009 - 18:27
Thanks but… what do you mean “paste your eye down” ?
I did “layer-new layer” cuz I couldn’t select “add alpha channel” but now my eraser wont erase anything at all… I’m not goot at this v__v
September 15th, 2009 - 18:27
That’s cause your don’t have an alpha channel up.
So go to Layer-Transparency-Add Alpha Channel or you can go to Layer-New Layer and it’ll automatically add transparency, then you can paste your eye down and follow the tut above.

What did you do to make your eraser just erase the red color wherever you wanted ? Cuz my eraser actually makes everything go white…
September 15th, 2009 - 18:27
I edited the image before I made the tut. Also it might be cause of the photo that was taken.

how is that eye so clear on mine its blury? when i zoom in
September 15th, 2009 - 18:27
Don’t leave the left mouse button down. Just click once and move it. Their all the same.
September 15th, 2009 - 18:27
the paths tool is different then yours and its messing me up
September 15th, 2009 - 18:27
When you paste the image it should be in it’s own layer that way you don’t fuck up the original, then when you change your tool or have the rectangular select tool and you click on a part of the image that isn’t selected. It should unselect the image and merge down.
