Awesome Gimp Signature Tutorial.
This is my first video tutorial. It's helpful if you're just starting out. I'd have to give myself a 5/5 either way. It's a great video. Well you can always use different brushes, use textures as the background (which I show in my latest tutorial) and tons of other things. You can experiment around with a lot of different stuff. There are a lot of good gimp signature tutorials out there on the net.

Hey no problem.
P.S. What other ways to make cool backgrounds do you know? I got the hang of this for now and learned some new tricks but I don’t want to use the same technique for all of them.

The Gimp does use up a lot of resources and ram once it first starts up. I suggest, restarting your computer and as soon as it starts up, start the Gimp. Make sure that you don’t have any other programs open while the Gimp is up and it should run a bit smoother.
